Founder

I’m Diego Oliveira, a Brazilian movement artist, teacher, and founder of OM Flow. My journey began on the streets of Brazil, moving through dance, capoeira, and everyday rhythms, learning early that the body speaks a truth that words often miss. Over two decades of teaching—from kids to elders, from Brazil to the Netherlands—I’ve seen how movement can open hearts and bring clarity when energy seem to be ‘blocked’.
OM Flow grew from that experience. It’s my way of sharing the practices that transformed me: a method where ancestral rhythms, martial arts, and somatic intelligence meet. Through breath, movement, and reflection, I guide people to reconnect with their own intuition, to navigate life not only with logic but with embodied knowing.
Being Brazilian, I carry a mix of cultures in my blood, but OM Flow is more than a blend, it’s the expression of my personal journey. Every session is a chance to cultivate a cognitive-groove, a liberating experience, and a reminder that we are all ever-transforming beings, capable of remembering the intelligence that lives in our bodies.

"I always leave Diego’s class with a warm heart. If you’re looking for a class that brings community, mindfulness and dance skills, this is the place! He is an amazing teacher that creates a safe space for everyone to express themselves through dance."

''As someone who hasn't been dancing for well, over a decade before this class, its been really good for me to have this particular dance practice. I'm allowed to explore, experiment and rehearse my own style and history while learning new things to implement and incorporate into it. The mix of steps and freedom is what I look for.''

''The fact that you have combined foundational house techniques with body awareness and capoeira is amazing. You guide us through difficult choreos without alienating us. Thanks for the community you've cultivated.''
